Pender Island Water Access
Water access along British Columbia's west coast can provide many challenges
as the terrain is often rugged and steep.
While reaching the water safely from your house on Pender Island may look almost impossible, in the right hands it can be done very successfully.
Before purchasing a waterfront lot it would be wise to explore your water access options along with all of the other building site considerations.
Access can be as basic as a safe and study stairway to a beach or floating dock but it can also be a spectacular aspect of your overall landscaping design.
At present there are no regulations requiring you to submit a design or obtain a building permit but you will need to be aware of the Islands Trust set back regulations on North and South Pender.
